The German Emigrants Database can help you with your genealogical search for your forefathers who emigrated. Before you start a search, please find out about the current data stock. The main core of information in the German Emigrants Database comes from the passenger manifests of the emigrant ships. For some emigrants other information is also available.
Visitors to the Historisches Museum Bremerhaven can search for individual people in the database at two user-friendly terminals in the museum exhibition rooms. A certificate showing the results of your search can be printed at the museum till for a small charge.
If you are not able to come to the Historisches Museum Bremerhaven yourself, you may send a search order to the Search Service of the “Förderkreises Morgenstern-Museum der Seestadt Bremerhaven e.
